Breakthrough in Aviation-Grade Superalloy Mass Production Achieved

Chengdu JFY’s strategic forging partner has successfully secured a single-order contract exceeding 345 metric tons
for aviation-grade superalloys, marking a historic leap in large-scale production capabilities for these mission-critical materials.
Dubbed the “Crown Jewel of Industrial Materials”, high-end superalloys are renowned for overcoming extreme forging challenges such as micro-cracking and inhomogeneity—a feat often likened to “scaling the Everest of metal forging”.
This milestone underscores the facility’s technical prowess in delivering alloys that meet stringent global aviation engine standards.

Technological Edge:
Leveraging 45MN fast forging presses and a dedicated R&D team,the plant has overcome longstanding barriers in microstructure control,
achieving tolerances of ±0.015mm and a defect-free billet rate of 99.2%.
Production Progress:
The first batch of 19.3 tons has been delivered to the client, with the second batch currently undergoing precision heat treatment.
Certification:
Materials comply with AS9100D and NADCAP specifications, critical for aerospace applications.
